ROYAL WARRANT HOLDERS KEEP IT IN THE FAMILY FOR CORONATION FESTIVAL

26/06/2013
By Vicky Leigh

Two internationally renowned UK family food brands have joined forces for the Coronation Festival - a four-day gathering of selected Royal Warrant holders at Buckingham Palace staged to celebrate ‘The Best of British’.

Artisan smokehouse John Ross Jr, which has held the Royal Warrant for 23 years, will supply Mosimann’s Garden Restaurant, located within the Royal Gardens, with its Traditional Scottish smoked Salmon throughout the course of the four-day event.

Christopher Leigh, John Ross Jr’s Master Smoker, comments: “The Coronation Festival is not only an ideal opportunity for the public to witness first-hand just how much goes into being a Royal Warrant holder but it also provides a great chance for the UK’s finest food brands to work together. Like John Ross Jr, Mosimann’s is a family business that pays painstaking attention to detail and we’re delighted that the restaurant has added our smoked salmon to its menu to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen’s Coronation.”

Philipp Mosimann, Managing Director at Mosimann’s London, adds: “John Ross Jr has justifiably earned worldwide acclaim for its superbly smoked Scottish salmon. This combined with its UK provenance is what lies behind our decision to add the smokehouse to our once-in-a-lifetime menu. The Coronation Festival will allow the best in class brands to work together and showcase everything that’s good about the British food industry. Our restaurant will provide all visitors to Buckingham Palace with the best of British ingredients and a unique fine dining experience.”

Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner at the exclusive Mosimann’s Garden Restaurant. It promises to be a truly once-in-a-lifetime occasion to relax and enjoy the spectacular Buckingham Palace Gardens in the rousing spirit of the Coronation celebrations.
